Kelsey Jones


Position: Hooker (7's + 15's) Teams: Welsh International, Gloucester Hartpury and Ospreys. Started rugby at the age of 16 where I was captain of the Seven Sisters first ever girls youth team. I was also lucky to play and captain Ospreys U18s. Turned 18 and played for Ospreys senior ladies team where I was picked up by Rowland Phillips to train with the Welsh squad. At the age of 19, selected to go to the Womens World Cup 2017 in Ireland where I received my first Cap coming off the bench against the Black Ferns. I have now gone on to gain 19 Cap for Wales. I work as a Disability and Inclusion officer, creating opportunities for all. I have a love and passion for the game and I want to ensure everyone who gets involved in rugby has the best first experience to ensure they start their journey off in the right way.
