Jordan Thompson, an all-action all-rounder, has now made first-team appearances across all three formats for Yorkshire, including making an immediate impact on his first-class and Specsavers County Championship debut in 2019.
Ahead of 2020, the Leeds-born 23-year-old has played 21 times for the White Rose firsts, 18 of those coming in T20 cricket.Thompson claimed a best of 5-60 with the ball against Derbyshire seconds in a Championship draw at Belper midway through 2016.
Prior to playing for the Yorkshire Academy, he played league cricket for Bradford side Pudsey St Lawrence. He returned there ahead of the 2018 summer.
Thompson is a Type One Diabetic, having been diagnosed aged 16. He carries the logo of Diabetes UK on the back of his bats.
